still haven't seen any ******* NG Strawberry Rhubarb locally

i'm about to write a sternly worded post in a new toxic topic thread

Bought a whole mess of NG fruit beer on my first trip to WI in 2008. I just drank my last bottle of Belgian Red a week or so ago.

Lol. Not a matter of "bothering", it's a matter of what I'm able to do and what I think is reasonable.

Flora is 3 pp. I 99.9% of the time go by myself. So if someone wants 2 bottles, I'm left with 1? That's a tough pill to swallow, and I'm probably not going to do it.

Which of the person posting the Iso has something I'd like to try makes it a lose lose proposition all around.

If my post rustled your jimmies, sorry. Glad you got what you were looking for

No jimmies rustled. Just saying it can happen. The guy I traded with probably took his significant other and left with 6. Who knows. Either way, the stuff is gold.

How is this a decent article about beer pricing? It has zero information about why beer costs what it does, if the high costs are reasonable, or what causes beers to be priced as they are. All it does is complain about the prices of beer.

Aggressiveness? Please. You acted like I did write the article and then I said that it was some Pulitzer Prize winning piece of literature. I said that it was decent. Not great. Not even good. Just decent, which, in my mind, means just OK. Meh, even.

I don't see how you came up with what you did in the above based on what shadowane wrote. He didn't use the words "great" or "good". He used "decent" which is what you did. No where do I get the feeling like he meant that you wrote it or that it was of Pulitzer Prize quality.

I'm selling out completely but I still put sriracha on food and name beers so totally not actually a bad thing

I read the whole thing. Something about wanting to open up a UK brewery and having his beers available in South Africa. And wake and bake and sriracha. And the him being in charge of Craft Operations make me think they're gonna buy more breweries.

I, personally, really think that Heineken is an awesome fit for Lagunitas....

.... ya know cause Tony gets to go to Amsterdam and smoke weed a lot.... I'm sure he's also looking forward to retirement (he mentions entering his 3rd act). Not sure if the dude has kids, but he's almost 60 and I'm guessing there isn't an "heir apparent" to take over the business. He gets a buttload of money and Heineken can carry the business on.

.... also now Independence Brewing in Austin is owned by Heineken (they're owned by Lagunitas). That's got me like...

Is the other 0.01% of the time when you're going to fight someone in the parking lot?

Heineken now 100% owns Lagunitas

That makes a lot of sense. Met some of the big Heineken guys last year and when they heard I was a big craft beer fan they started talking about a new plan they had for the UK, I think in Wales.

"Family operated" seems like a bit of a stretch for Sierra Nevada to keep claiming. How many employees do they have?

At least it doesn't say "hand made" or "artisanal" or some other ******** like that.

That said, Sierra Nevada's not much better than AB-InBev. They covet shelf space and tap lines as much as anyone.
