Putting the label on the top that you want up is your best bet for it to be right side up because that label gets scanned coming and going everywhere so it saves time from flipping it to the label side. But if it says right side up then **** you Im going to put it whatever way up I want.

So much this. "labels up!" was a big thing. ALWAYS put your label on the side you want facing up. Make life easier to scan.

I was a Teamster. I gave no ***** about anything while I worked there. It's next to impossible to be fired while being a Teamster. The union system works!

i laughed. LOL. yeah, there is never any time to be careful with packages, especially during the holidays.
the supervisors and hub managers are constantly on your ass "pick it up, pick it up! come on! lets go, lets go!!"
i loved it when i used to get the refrigerated 56 footers to unload. i've yet to order any cheesecake from juniors...

Its a mindless job. For hours a day youre literally just unloading or loading boxes from trucks. Youre by yourself or if youre lucky one other person. So you find ways to entertain yourself. You see how hard you could throw it and how far, always trying to throw it just a little bit harder or farther than before. And yes there is some spite there because **** you dont tell me how to handle your package, its 2am Im going to handle it however I want.

Honestly one of my favorite jobs. Sure it was ****** and mindless but the pay is great, ups has wonderful benefits and I was basically being paid to listen to music and work out for four hours a day. And you dont have to deal with anyone really.

I found out more at lambic.info and discovered the last year iris was in 375s was in 2013.

I did when they sniped my package to ggfunk, I figured worst they could say was "nope", which they did, I then got a letter from a Sr. Paralegal telling me i was naughty. I switched to UPS for a couple months and now use botrh. I;ve had no problems, so far.

Yeah it went out for delivery. Couldn't be left due to a "locked gate" (of which there was no such thing). Then it went to delivery exception. Then it went to "damaged". Then back to delivery exception. The ****?

Been catching up on the past twenty pages or so I missed while playing The House, and now I want mead.

I'm considering joining both the Garagiste and the Misbeehavin club, but would need trustees for both. Obviously I'd send a thank you box out before anything even came my way. Slightly more interested in the Garagiste club if I had to choose only one, though I'd also love more insight on Misbeehavin from people who know stuff about stuff.

Misbeehavin is founded / run by Clint Wadsey who is a NW Indiana guy who makes fruited / interesting meads that are typically not quite as big as the stuff from other meadmakers out there. Great if you want to finish a bottle over the course of a night which can be difficult if soloing a big sweet rich mead. Think the flavors and experimentation you are seeing from Garagiste but at a lower ABV and richness (somewhat similar to the carbed meads from B Nektar minus the carbonation).

I've had a bunch of his meads (as well as a recent braggot collaboration with Four Fathers Brewing) that were excellent, and only a couple that I wasn't a big fan.

Looking forward to having more of the good stuff produced on a commercial scale from all over the country.

Clint tends a little drier than Schramm's or Garagiste, but quality is there on most of his stuff. Aloha Kong is going to be his big winner out the gate. Muscat grape juice and big orange blossom honey profile. It smells like fruit and flowers in the best possible way. He gave me a sample for a mead tasting once, and I must have huffed my glass for five minutes before taking a sip. It's like nothig else (maybe Midas Touch, considering some of the similar ingredients, but so much bolder on the grape and floral and honey).

Just found out we're getting bottles of both Anchorage/Grassroots collabs here next month. I am much excite. Hope this means more Anchorage stuff in the future because that'll make me feel like trading less for sure.

Anyway, since the other site's mods have posters of Pol Pot and the Kim-Jung family in their bedrooms and don't allow us to discuss these sorts of things, who's gunning for what with the Voodoo set? I know a good chunk of us in here are traders so I'm curious to hear what the targets are. I'd love to get my hands on a BA Abraxas or a VBDL, both of which I think are very attainable (maybe 2:1). Also considering taking a run @ Assassin if Jeevo doesn't.

I spent $300 on Garagiste membership and that's solely based on a couple oz of the dfpf mead he shared at Peg's day last year. those two oz alone just put a deep hole in my wallet.
