I'm not one to flaunt my job in the beer industry, mainly because I am a tiny cog in a huge well oiled machine here in CO, but when I go into a bar or brewery and get shown love it brightens my day in such a huge way. "Service" industry folks are the worst, and best, people on the planet.

It's alright. Massively sweet and tastes kind of artificial to me. Not sure about US distro though.

I loved it. The Bourbon BA version (Yellow Belly Sundae) is even better but it seems to have been hoovered up by hoarders.

Just went to a growler shop, had to buy 2 growlers (32oz) since I didn't have any to bring. He says $6 a pop... which I thought was a bit steep. Normally pay $3 at the place across from where I live.

I notice there are some plastic growlers, tell him to just use those... Just assumed they'd be much cheaper, but never actually asked or confirmed. He rings me up, and they're still $6 a pop. Unreal. First and last trip to that shop.

I notice there are some plastic growlers, tell him to just use those... Just assumed they'd be much cheaper, but never actually asked or confirmed. He rings me up, and they're still $6 a pop. Unreal. First and last trip to that shop.

And to top it off his online menu was out of date, and they did not have the beer I drove all the way across town for.

On a serious note, I find it really annoying when stores don't update the online menus like beermenus for weeks or months at a time. That kind service usually costs anywhere from 50-100 dollars a month i'm pretty sure. Money out the window in that case. It really pays for itself if you can at least get a few customers a month in there that were influenced by the online menu availability.

lol... that's awesome. The ones I prefer to get, look like a big ass version of a 20oz pop bottle. Only concern I had prior to shipping those was how well they did or didn't hold their carb, but I've yet to have a complaint and always ask to make sure it did hold up well.

Yellow Belly... agree with andrewdrinks, really dug the beer. Weird, but I liked it. That said, I can totally see what BirdUp is referring to. The sweet (kinda peanuty but I'm really not f'ing sure) bits do have a really weird feel to them. Not sure if I'd use "artificial" myself, but yeah, weird. Very weird. Also noticed, as echoed by a friend whose palate I trust, the beer changed a LOT as it warmed.

US distro comes through 12percent. In MA, they come through Shelton Brothers, so spotty, light distro.
