I can't figure out if I love or hate the Milk The Funk ugly Christmas/Hannukah sweaters and shirts.

My dad gave me a Sam Adams Christmas sweater as a joke a few years back. Will have to look for it.

I recently had to fill out a survey for my healthcare. One of the inevitable questions was "how many alcoholic beverages do you consumer per day?" My thinking: 12 oz beer = 1 drink, 750 ml = 1 drink.

Cable Car Kriek is one of the rare American Fruited Sours I've ever had that has lived up to expectations, and the bottle I tried seems like an outlier among other bottles (Didn't gush, barley a sound when the cork was removed, but still good carbonation). Fruity and jammy with a mild acidic character, great funk and a well rounded barrel character. Only Cable Car 2009 gives it a run for it's money as best I've had (although the 2014 we tried later was pretty damn good at the moment as well).

I haven't had any of those but agree with you.

I'll go ahead and post the inevitable "How does it compare to Pure Hoppiness brewed at Alpine?" question....

Because Nelson and Duet ain't the same.

"Alpine* Pure Hoppiness in 12oz bottles is excellent."

I found Alpine* Pure Hoppiness indistinguishable from Alpine Pure Hoppiness.

Therefore, it was excellent.

Parabajava was surprisingly disappointing on tap when I had it.

Such a solid, tried and true lineup of beer drinking for the Marquette game & WWE Raw last night.

Celebration Ale
Rogue Chocolate Stout
Pure Hoppiness
SNPA
Wait, is that sixer $4.29?

Anyone know if DirtWolf is still relatively fresh? It's 8.49 a 4-pack here which is a good deal, but I can't find anything on the bottles, packs, or case boxes indicating the date. And both the stores and distributors here are dumb enough that they could seriously be from last year.

Dirt Wolf is year round yes. Best by is printed ON the label. Unless they cut off part of the label with a razor blade?

It's a 5 month best by date . It is one of very few hoppy beers that tastes almost equally good after 3 months, I've never gone past about 3 1/2'months though...
One of my favorite beers for certain .

Pure Hoppiness is 15.99 here. It's good, not amazing , hop slam is better .

Remember how good / affordable Odonata Saison was for a short period of time? I had Irishgurl back on BA send that out by the 12 bottle shipper full at least 3 times while she our Bruery trustee, and at something like $3.99 a 750 it was an amazing steal.

I always wonder if the affordability of that beer is what did them in...
