real Gs move in silence like lasagna
For some reason I read the second tweet as being from John Taffer and thought "that's pretty insightful beer commentary coming from the Bar Rescue guy." Then I realized it was Laffler.
Looks like soup, serve it in a bowl
Like a bossDo I hear you correctly?
Am I understanding your point of view properly?
Could you be actually suggesting that it's.....
Soup Time.
After having T30 it reminds how much I have always enjoyed Russian River beers. They make so many great beers. They are very clean and well executed.
Let's not confuse this with a JulianB 1000 mile drive reality of the situation post. I'm glad most people seemingly don't give a *** online about their beers anymore.
Also, ISO Pliny Bites
Had to see for myself if Temptation was still great when visiting last week.I used to love Consecration, Supplication, Temptation and Sanctification. I still like the latter two quite a bit, but find that the acetic character in the former two (which I could handle and enjoy when I was first dabbling in "sours") is more than I can handle (or my stomach can handle) now.
I definitely respect their execution. Their beers are consistent, and you always know what you are going to get. And yeah, those bites are great bar food.
I would wait outside the brewpub for an hour + every single time just to support their oldmoney ways. It's great they haven't even dabbled in the hazeboi or pastry stout game.Had to see for myself if Temptation was still great when visiting last week.
Confirmed. That beer is still tits.
Also love RR, but they certainly did dabble in the hazy IPA realm (Tempo Change). Even so, give me Sanctification, Temptation, Pliny, and Pliny Bites, and I'm good. One of my favorite beer memories is the 3 hours of Younger and Pliny bites. While it's not my favorite hoppy beer, I hope they never change Pliny. That beer staying the same kinda feels like it holds this whole thing together.I would wait outside the brewpub for an hour + every single time just to support their oldmoney ways. Temptation is the only reason I’m still bummed about Russian River leaving WA in 2012.
This will go over well... https://www.southbendtribune.com/ne...cle_e4a03341-997c-5205-98ae-1042fddef69a.html
Duncan has a reason behind every name. The stout will be called “Black Beer Matters” because, according to Duncan, stouts and porters are the least popular of all craft beers. But “they are good beers and they matter,” he said. This will go over well... https://www.southbendtribune.com/ne...cle_e4a03341-997c-5205-98ae-1042fddef69a.html
No Hutus and Tutsis? You strike me as a Rwandan Genocide awareness kind of guy.TBH "mass graves" sounds like it could be a 3 Floyds beer.
I plan to name my brewery ALL BOSNIANS MUST DIE, to draw attention to the 1992 war.

I think a good version of this is THREES BREWING in Brooklyn. They'll name things stuff like "Gender Neutral" and "You People" that can start a conversation but aren't offensive to (reasonable) people.“With titles including “Flint Michigan Tap Water,” “Black Beer Matters,” “White Guilt” and “Mass Graves,” Jon Duncan and Rodney Chlebek acknowledge the names are likely to create a reaction from people. But, according to Duncan, at least people will be talking about current issues.“
Someone needs to explain to them the difference between between bringing attention to yourself and bringing attention to an issue.

Its ridiculous to get offended. Have you ever visited three floyds? They are quiet, yet obvious satanic white supremacists. Still good beer. This is over the top....obviously. Over the top is how you get noticed. Duncan is one of the least racist person i know. Hes being satirical. Loosen up people
No way that comment was not written by Duncan. From the comments section of the story linked above:

This is just for shock value IMHO.
