I agree that taking the hit was probably the best option here but they probably thought "hey, we have the guys e-mail, I'll just drop him a line and see if we can sort this out". Cue ******* beer nerds losing their **** everywhere. There was over 100 comments on a post about this on a UK based facebook group by 9am this morning.I guess I'm struggling to find sympathy for a brewery that already made a very healthy margin by "only" receiving $300 for that bottle. It's not like they are going to go out of business because of that $200. Chalk it up as a loss and don't take the PR hit.
