Are there people who like the smell though? Can't imagine.
I didn't realize anyone in the entire world actually liked durian.

Oh yeah I actually really like the smell of it. There are a lot of people in South East Asia who just adore the fruit. Who doesn't love a fruit that if it falls on your head will insta-kill you? :P There are seriously 3 recorded deaths from falling durians in Malaysia last year.

I love the taste of durian, but I would prefer eating it with some kind of gas mask on.
Which seems highly impractical

I got the New Belgium variety pack this weekend, 12pk for $16. Great deal and was really blown away, enjoyed that watermelon thingy in 105 degree weather by the pool. Slowly getting my family into microbrews

I bought the NB fat tire & friends pack tonight at whole foods. I don't know what I was expecting, but for $16, what the hell. Allagash one was okay, and then I poured the green apple one out. Trying the FW one right now, really don't have an opinion on it.

Oh well, at least they'll be good to have in the fridge when I'm ****** drunk and don't want to waste anything good.

I split one with a friend this past weekend. I enjoyed the Avery and Allagash collaborations a lot. The Firestone Walker one was so so but drinkable. Didn't try the sour apple one. Overall I thought it was decent, good execution for what they were going for, but I'd only drink a couple of them again

tosh gave me one of the watermelon ones and I took about 5 sips and poured it out. Maybe I just don't like watermelon...

A couple of weeks ago, I had a bottle of NB's tangerine IPA. I thought it was decent and easy drinking, so I grabbed a 6pk on Saturday to drink while grilling at the house. Get home, start drinking and it turns out, some **** face popped 4 of those watermelon things into the 6pk, so I only had two tangerines. Havent tried a watermelon yet, but your positive comments have lowered my aggravation a bit.

No, that beer truly does suck.

Aggravation rising again.

To be fair, tosh is British and doesn't know anything. And disclaimer, grilling in the sun at 105 degrees it made sense. Probably wouldn't drink it any other time. Lobster tails and Louisiana hot links on Father's Day

Speaking of terrible beers, you open an Aunt Sally yet stupac2 ?

That whole "spontan" series... I couldn't believe it when I saw a ******* basil beer priced at 30 bucks. I'm just waiting for a Spontanoregano at this point.

The Spontanbasil is actually really good compared the rest of the Spontan series which range from meh to awful.

Mikkeller ruins everything.
