I definitely want to try the Rene Kriek. Cuvee Rene is good but it doesn't really tickle my funny bone. I think it's the mineral character that Juice pointed out, I know that a lot of people are really big on that but it doesn't seem to be my thing. It's also probably why I'm not as big on Broken Truck as a lot of others are.

Kriek is awesome.

That's how I feel with any adjunct stout these days. They're kind of all the same, pretty tasty, but does anything really stand out? Not sure how you can really do anything groundbreaking or unique at this point. And there's no shortage of them either.
The adjunct stout game becomes even more of a trifle when you've had Fremont's lineup. I don't think I've had a coffee beer recently that matches up to coffee KDS, and I've yet to have an adjunct stout (strong ale, whatever) in the past year that comes close to Coffee Cinn B-bomb.

CC BBomb is legit one of the best beers out there.

Same with the regs. I could stock my shelves with KDS and BBomb and variants.

I think Soto got a better one of all of us TB guys minus Travis.
Here's the shot of us I have:

So how "infected" Is BCBCS? I didn't think BW was infected, just poorly made. Haven't opened a BCBCS yet.

Had a great fresh coffee, a great coffee a couple weeks ago, and in between, one that was a bit bright with some fading coffee flavor, but I didn't get infection.

Now barleywine on the other hand is absolutely infected. I actually opened and drain poured 3 bottles that tasted like the worst sour crap today.
