To be fair, it's a 0.25 rating.

So 42 at 5 + 0.50 / 44 = 4.78

There's no such thing as a 0 rating, the lowest is 0.25. 0 stars counts as no rating.

To be fair, it's a 0.25 rating.

44 ratings, 2 are 0.25
So 42 at 5 + 0.50 / 44 = 4.78

The ratings aren't straight averages, or at least they didn't used to be, but I don't know what exactly it is. Also I don't think that ratings update live, IIRC they're recalculated nightly, so you'd need to wait to see the change.

When it first came back to my market... late summer?... I of course grabbed a 6pack of Anderson Valley Blood Orange. Immediately popped two cans in the fridge.

6 cans still reside in amongst my beer. One still heroically keeping it's spot in the fridge.

What exactly is the deal with Apple Brandy Marshal Zhukov w/ Vanilla Beans (ABMZ)

Some guys paid $7,100 (which was donated to charity) for a brew day at CCB. They made ABMZ and picked up a bunch of bottles.

How many bottles did they get? Why is there so much hate towards them?

No idea on how many bottles. they are getting so much hate because they are being cockstaggering shitlords about it and pumping the trade value between themselves. They also need to "check with the group" before making any trades as to keep the trade/resale value high.

BUT IT WAS FOR CHARITY.

(Seriously, the world would have been much better off if CCB just brewed this beer and sold bottles at $100 per and gave all money to their charity. It would have sold instantly, generated significantly more money, and I wouldn't have to get angry every time I think of how ******* awful all of you people are.)

One of them commented on my 2012 review of normal zhukov asking "wonder why you didn't like the apple brandy one"
