Raking fruit at secondary

I brewed a extract cream ale last weekend, and my plan is add about 5 pounds of frozen peaches. My question is would it be OK to soak the peaches in peach schnapps instead of vodka, and how long should I soak them?

When I rack onto frozen fruit for secondary, I don't sanitize the fruit when it's store bought. If you have fresh fruit and are worried you could sanitize/cut/freeze.
