Hey guys

I have a two jet burner from academy and it works great usually

About every three brews the flame becomes real weak as compared to the normal which boils 7 gallons in about 10 minutes, then all of sudden it will get real weak and it takes about an hour to get to boil

I bought a new regulator and it worked great for about 3 brews

Tanks are full

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Try shutting off the tank and disconnecting the regulator from the tank, then reconnect. I have this problem occasionally with my backyard propane grill, and that always fixes it.

That worked this time

The regulator froze?

Makes me think about the Grainfather more and more

Its probably because of the dual jets.

I have a few bayou burners that work alright, they take some time to heat 9gallons of water, they sound like a 747 APU and Im really close to building an electric rig . . . so you arent alone.
