Going to bottle my pumpkin ale and when I go to check priming sugar calculator they want to know the style. What would this come under. And the desired volume of co2 listed is 2.5. My OG was 1064. Don't understand much about volumes and what I need for my beer bottled with reg sugar. And its 7 gal.

Try out this calculator. 2.5 volumes of CO2 is about average for American beers. Highly carbonated saisons and hefes would be carbonated closer to and over 3 volumes.

Weighing out the priming sugar is more accurate than using partial cup measures. This calculator has volumes and weight for the various sugars that can be used for priming. For temperature of the beer enter the highest temperature the beer has been held at.
