Does potassium sorbate oxidize out? The best price on locally pressed cider has it in it.

Darn, I guess that means no using that to make cider with.

you could possibly start the yeast ahead of time and then put in yeast nutrient. I have had some success with that. the potassium sorbate will only stop the yeast from multiplying (much) but if it gets a head start sometimes it is enough

The guy at the pressing place says its 1/10%. Is that a lot? Too much for the yeast to overcome?
