Yeah, no, none of that stuff is worth that much.

I'm talking cost for GN to get these items made and repackage/resell them including their margin of profit. value is subjective, but each piece of the set is custom so GN is also passing that higher cost per item onto the consumer. they could probably release an identical $60 box set if they were interested in fuzzy hearts instead of making money.

Without commentary on the state of affairs, I think that if it's between me enjoying a beer and someone earnestly needing this to survive, I'd let it go to them.

I don't think it's really "relying" on it I think it's just easier to sit in line and get drunk than get a real job.

They just went on sale in the breweryTues/Wednesday. They're great but a growler fill will save you $2. I heard they will be in New Seasons and possibly a couple other spots.

Since Holy Mountain has told people to stop drinking in line things have improved. Sad that people couldn’t figure it out on their own.

Just had a few hoppy beers & a whiskey/port BA Barleywine at Von Ebert. I don’t really dig that space, but the beers were all on point.
Apparently they’ve got a new location that they’re going to be focusing on saison/wilds etc. Seems promising to me.

Their new location is at a golf course. I'm very confused as to why they chose that location as the one to focus on wild ales, but what do I know.

Jason from SARA is going to be brewing at the new space I just worked there the past four years (helped open Fat Head’s, same ownership) and just quit about a month ago, mostly because I prefer bartending to serving tables and I’m at Bailey’s full time now.

That is an odd decision for sure. I’m fairly certain they have the former head brewer from SARA signed on to that project though. Should be cool.

I thought it was the former Commons brewer Sean Burke brewing there.
