hoping to head up in a month or two. This is a great list, thanks for the info! Closer to I may have some questions as well.

May read through before asking for hotel ideas too

My Anniversary is coming up in July. We are planning a trip. Wifey knows VT would be a beer trip so I am tricking her into another area. Thinking about Maine. Anything going on early July in the area?
Maine Craft brewers guild fest in July in Portland area. Don't remember exact date on that one though. It was a fun time when I went ~3 years ago.

had a quick stay in Portland Friday night, was disappointed Novare was closed and I didn't see mention of it till I walked up on the door, lol.

DuckFat was really good, as was Eventide great cocktail list. I still dig J's for seafood though. Hampton Inn was a decent stay and was close to walk to a lot of things and has the Sebago pub in it... Beers are average but I expected that... Bissell and Foundation were cool and Allasgash was closed on Friday but I knew thane going in, lol. Oxbow was a nice setup beers on tap I had all before would of been nice to see a little more there.

The Holy Donut on the way out in the morning was a nice way to head out to NH and visit Dave at Deciduous before driving back to Chicago...

How's Uber there?

Usually pretty responsive. I ordered one just before 1a (when bars close) on Saturday and they picked me up within 5 minutes.
Used Uber on Friday night for the short trip to/from Oxbow and both times the wait was <5 minutes.

I asked myself this same question last week, before heading up and stumbled across a message board where Portland's Uber drivers complain about things. Seems like there are usually too many drivers and they just cut rates. These both sound like good things for riders.

awesome, thanks guys. Looks like my wife's bday is Apr 18th. She has spring break from teaching the week before. So (tenative trip of) Wednesday night Tree House stop, through to Trillium and boston for 2 nights. Then to Deciduous and up to Portland for Fri/Sat. Looking at staying at Morrill Mansion B&B. Ratings are outta this world it seems.

No limits. Jesus. I am going to cry inside if I start seeing FT ISO Whales. Already seen one known ******* shopping it on facebook.

I went to Bissell at 12:30 to pick up some Swish, probably 15 people there. A rainy Wednesday, could not have been any more of a polar opposite from the shitshow that was last Saturday. Then I went to Oxbow. Zero people there whatsoever, was literally the only customer in the building. Around 1000 bottles of Momoko was the word.

Lol at anyone thinking they can trade Oxbow for whales. It boggles my mind every single day that hardly anyone understands how good they are, that is if they even know about them at all. Not that I really care at this point (I just drink it all because it's incredible), but Oxbow "trade value" is probably actually lower now than it's ever been. People only give a **** about muddy ipas in New England.

That boggles my mind as well. I've only had a few but each one I had was quite incredible.

What is the release deetz on Momoko? Might have to post an ISO for that one.

500ml $17.50, no limit, roughly 1000 bottle count. Barrel aged (brett/tart) saison with peaches. Oh, and delicious ;-)

Foundation is doing an anniversary thing today. Anyone going?

If anyone wants to meet for a beer next week, shoot me a message. I'll be in town Wednesday night.
Staying a few blocks from Novare & Oxbow, so I'll likely be at one or the other.

Can potentially bring some VT stuff if anyone is interested.
