How long til that ass clown tries to start making money from that group somehow?
he has "big plans" for it lmao

as much as i enjoy the highway wreck that is that group, i finally had to bail out of frustration with the hypocritical over-policing of content

the mental gymnastics executed by a certain moderator to justify his seemingly sporadic opinions (which fortuitously always align with whatever outcome personally benefits him most) rival that of Larry David

Someone mentioned they're gonna try and make beer week a think again using that group and I would heartily watching anyone try to turn that pile of **** into anything but Caliente Southern Tier Week.

Also, Jason called this thread a trash fire frat club and while I don't disagree, I'm looking forward to getting thrown out of that group for talking about that group.

Anyone try the BRC beers?

I saw one Untappd "review" for 'Nilla K13 to the effect of "Starts off with some vanilla and ends on a medicinal note. 4.75".

Looking forward to reading some reviews from TB folks, who I have a little more faith in.

I did crush a Four Roses BM last night. God that was good.

BM was amazing. Perfect balance with lots of barrel. K13 rye was quite nice, little more spicy and less sweet than I expected. The vanilla was pretty messy imo. Whatever you want to call it: green apple, young oak sort of fresh sapling astringency, or maybe it was just like a liqueur thing, but it washed out all nuance that might've otherwise been found.

So the guy that sells beer on the secondary is going to save Pittsburgh Beer week? Got it.

I haven't had it, but vanilla is a common additive (explicitly stated or not) to cover up off flavors. Bruery mash and vanilla was a perfectly good barleywine so I'm not saying that's the case here.

Much excite to try the rye.

so the happy mug k13 vanilla coffee is aged in the barrel prior to roast. it says it right there on the bag. i had my first cup this morning and was not a fan, but i haven't liked any of the barrel aged coffees so i think its just not for me.

Yeah when did those become things? I think I’d be into them.

On the hops front I grabbed cans of Yellow Bridge Big Dude this past week and was pretty impressed. Not BG/DG level, but really nice. Galatic Jack from BG has been the best new APA I've had a while. I was really digging it and will be sad to see it go.

I have someone sending me some BG growlers this week. Originally asked for Galactic Jack and Overgrowth, but Overgrowth kicked, so.figured Id try one of the new ones. Need recommendations on Riddler OG vs Golden Panda.

Haven't tried Panda, but I really liked Riddler OG as well.

I was also pretty impressed with Big Dude, definitely their best yet. The recent cans of Little Dude were solid too, good to have a decent option so close.
