I'm late to the party in chiming in on this, but the rye K13 is a damn fine beer. I feel like 90% of the time spirit barrel aging a barelywine ends up making a cloying mess out of what would have been an otherwise fine beer, this is definitely at the top of the 10% did it right.

I had a little Father's day beer adventure today. The most recent batch of blossomong down under at voodoo is ridiculously good and I think the best ipa they've ever made. Silver wax black magick is excellent but reminded me more of boubon county with a few years on it than any other recent black magick batch that I've had.

Swung by BG since I was in the neighborhood and wanted my dad to try their hops since he loves dancing gnome. Galactic jack may be the best beer I've ever had from them and my dad loved it too (his favorite beer is lustra). There's a lot to be said for cramming that much flavor into a 5.5% beer. Golden panda and was a big letdown and not on the level of their other dipas.

Really thin pancakes is not thin and I cannot find the pancake addition

I want to complain and say I want my money back but this gif perfectly showcases my feels

Hey Pittsburghers!

I'll be in Lawrenceville tonight and was wondering if there were any super dope spots i should hit up? Looking to keep it 100 with fire-ass local drafts and maybe some growlers or crowlers or prowlers to go.

I've already got Cinderlands planned, any other can't-miss spots? I'm staying in a tent under the 40th street bridge so anything within walking distance is preferable.

Thanks in advance! Suck my ass.

Any chance you’ll be makinurwaydowntown? Because I won’t be there.

Unfortunately didn't make it to Hop Farm cause i didn't wanna go there.

However, Cinderlands was doper than a HUGO BOSS sweatshirt. Had the grissette, double i, and the dry hopped pils. Dug the gris and appreciated the doub but for me the clear winner of the chicken dinner was the dry hopped pils. Could and would drink with reckless abandon. Didn't eat but the food looked and smelled good. Nice, knowledgeable staff, handsome and/or pretty. Will slow dance with again, for sure.

Any chance you’ll be makinurwaydowntown? Because I won’t be there.

Looking to get weird as early as 5 pm Friday at the Arch street pub unless someone has a better suggestion. Also looking for things to do post fest if we dont end up in jail

Won't be up there till morning of, but staying Saturday night and want to find a post-fest thang as well. Anyone with info on fun stuff like a bottle share or Golden Coral challenge or doo-*** concerts, please PM me.

Bottle share AT Golden corral might change my mind about going to this

There must be something wrong with my palate. I have had plenty of New England IPAs but I have yet to have one that tasted like it was worth a five hour wait in line. On a non-IPA but still related note, I once met someone who drove from somewhere in PA to Boston to wait in line for seven hours or so for a beer, and it wasn't even hazy.

I also love the five hour wait guy's quote: "They're all very similar." They're all basically the same beer, so...he feels the need to rush out and wait for several hours so he doesn't miss out instead of going to get cans for a less hyped release...makes sense to me.
