As far as places to just hang, it's one of the more comfortable & kinda fun ones, & lots of people are <100% about the beer. Not my favorite product-wise, but I've liked some of their stuff & if someone said let's head there & chill I wouldn't say no.

Makes sense. I'll stop sometime. I end up driving past it pretty often for one reason or another.

I've been happy with the stouts, & actually the raspberry one's been my favorite so far.

And I have no issue with a brewery doing it if they are transparent about it. Augie Carton rates a ton of beers including his own on Untappd. He either give a beer a 5 or he doesn't rate it (more commonly the former). But intentionally being deceptive just irked me.

That always kinda bothered me. But agreed it's not as bad.

I give Augie a pass since I really enjoy Steal This Beer

Hanging Gardens: Nectarine spent six months in oak barrels with our house culture, followed by six weeks fermenting with a generous portion of fresh nectarines. After eight months naturally conditioning in the bottle, the result is a beer with an orange-gold hue, a funky fruit aroma, and a pleasantly juicy finish.

Hanging Gardens: Blueberry Blackberry spent seven months in oak barrels with our house culture, three months further fermenting on fresh blueberries and blackberries, and three months resting in the bottle. This beer glows with a radiant magenta color, a bright berry aroma, and a lightly tart finish. Both beers utilize the same base of Pilsner malt and wheat.

I really liked Whole Punch Guava which surprised me a bit seeing as how I've been iffy on the milkshake IPAs traditionally and I don't tend to care much for guava either. It really worked though, so I'm curious to try more.

Guava was good but apricot was a whole other level from that series from what ive had.

Surprised you arent on the milkshake train.. did you have PA Handshake from east end?

I couldn't tell you the last time I've had any beer from East End, tbh.

Before Whole Punch Guava I had the Guave milkshake IPA from Tired Hands and didn't like it at all.

Stoked for those, but part of me hopes this is only a momentary departure from the previous release system of reserving and then picking up. I really hate the Fast and the Furious: 376 @ Rush Hour release format.

PA Handshake is absolutely excellent. Maybe you missed it but it was a Pizza Boy collab.

And its definitely a one off departure. Theyre letting people buy up to 6 bottles at a time, so this isnt an exclusive release or anything.

Not exclusive, sold out in a half hour.

They either have a **** ton of bottles or will be releasing more very soon if theyre letting people buy 6 at a time.

Yeah, I'm sure the bottle count is pretty high.

There's a DG can release at 4 tomorrow for a new beer so I'm guessing that will likely have some effect on how many folks go out for this one too. Wilds/saisons also don't move the needle in these parts like stouts and hops do.
