You are a better man than I.
I continued to pound pour after pour of Zangy at the end of the fest and ended up naked in a Dennys (or was it Perkins?) a couple hours later.
was anyone elses experience with this version of zangy straight pete smoke or do I blame the BBQ joint for ******* with me?
Aaaaaaand... following! If anyone would rather watch a video of a cute squirrel going to town on an acorn rather than guide Satan's dick into a skunk's brown department OR hear more Voodoo/BG backyard brawl stuff, you miiiight wanna head on over to Instagram right about now.
For no reason in particular I just assumed that was a Cercone/Breaking Brews/Word of the Poured/Pittsburgh Libations Week/Over a Couple of Beers/Pittsburgh Craft Beer Network joint.Which one of you ******* ******** runs the @canspgh twitter account? If possible it’s actually worse than the trifecta of completely inane Facebook groups.
Not sure if anyone in here cares about Pittsburgh's place in the national music scene but a couple of things have popped up recently that must be shared.
If you don't care about hip-hop, then you can ignore...
First this story about DJ Jazzy Jeff with support from the late great J Dilla at Jerry's records:

And then this **** - as reviewed by an LA based youtube reviewer I respect and pay attention to - discussing the new Malibu Ken record...which is Aesop Rock (one of the all time greats) plus Tobacco (from Pittsburgh based psych outfit Black Moth Super Rainbow). Check out the 2:23ish mark. Blew my mind that this little local Pittsburgh news story has been immortalized by the legendary ******* Aesop Rock.

Also....beer.
I dont think it's Cercone. What makes you say it sucks so much? I don't really pay attention to it.Which one of you ******* ******** runs the @canspgh twitter account? If possible it’s actually worse than the trifecta of completely inane Facebook groups.
Def not CerconeI dont think it's Cercone. What makes you say it sucks so much? I don't really pay attention to it.
not doubting you, but anecdotally, I've frequented spirit since they opened, and often with the finer sex. However never heard of ppl getting roofied there. can't speak the same for people voluntarily ingesting substances though. I will say that one dude from the security company that they pimp out to is definitely predetor-esque and ensures the emission of many creepvibes. I'll keep an eye out though. Not beer industry per se but I've heard of lots of women getting roofied at spirit in LV, fyi
Two spots in PGH. Plus a Brewdog taproom & a Platform taproom & a taproom from some other forgettable Cleveland brewery. Saturation, smaturation.Saw somewhere the Sly Fox is setting up shop in Pgh. If this means I can find fresh Pikeland Pils again then I am fully supportive.
I do love those cans.Saw somewhere the Sly Fox is setting up shop in Pgh. If this means I can find fresh Pikeland Pils again then I am fully supportive.

It was nice finally putting a face to a poster here. Met moarhops down at Piper's this past Saturday.
I live in Westmoreland county. The places I frequent to buy beer typically have Pikeland Pils cans that have had a birthday (if they have it at all). I am sure there are places around town that have it, I just never seem to go to said places. Are you guys having trouble finding it? Not that I don't like that beer, but fresh Pils isn't difficult to find here in Pittsburgh.

The struggle is real...Jesus.
I feel like they've had a 5pm opening forever, no? When were you there last? I agree it's a bummer though. It was nice finally putting a face to a poster here. So cool seeing a beer like Mammoth on tap outside of Brew Gentlemen.
Also, why did Independent Brewing Company have to change their hours so that they don't open until 5:00 pm?

While I am on a lager rant, someone get Jack's Abbey in here. Post Shift Pils pounders are always bought en masse when I frequent the in-laws in Buffalo. That and Firestone Lager with the occasional Von Trappe score makes me a happy man.The struggle is real...

Or maybe BG can finally can some of their Lagers.... Wouldn't be mad to find some All Saints St Jozeph pils cans either. A man can dream can't he...
