I got super hammered on BCBS and Black Note one night before a Leon Bridges concert that's it that's the whole story.

Any of you goons going out on Friday for BCBS? I was considering going to a less busy MD to hopefully get a few bottles without having to wait in line. Only really interested in regular and vanilla though. Bramble and orange sound gross. I haven't heard about anyone getting bw or wheatwine but I'd give those a shot too. Threadshit in anti-budweiser memes.
There is a fair amount of wheatwine out there. Waterworks,South Hills Village, Donaldson Crossraods, Shadyside, and Robinson MDs for sure. I'd expect a few Ds to get it as well.

Anyone have trouble finding BCBS this year? It seemed to be much more available in PGH this year. I only saw the base, Vanilla, and Wheatwine, however.

Any locals have a 2 or 3 tap kegerator they are looking to unload?

I know GEMDSSRMFL or whatever had all of those plus Bramble and Orange. Seemed to me like it was much better than in years past.

My wife snagged me the full allotment from GEMDWW which was 3 regular, 1 vanilla and 1 wheatwine. That was enough for me.

I was in Buffalo and waited in line for 2x regular 18 and two 17. I am hoping somewhere locally held back and posts later or somewhere puts any of the variants on tap as i’d love to try them.

Struck out again yesterday at the Sesame Garden on Shilo but my buddy ended up getting me a bottle. Split it with moarhops last night.

I'm not much for berry stouts but it was tasty. Pretty well balanced. I wasn't offended.

I wouldn't pen a letter to my parents about it but i might send them a quick text.

When you stop by to see your parents, do they claim that they have a creative black tie affair to attend and then rush out?

Nah it's usually something like "ah honey if we knew you were coming we wouldn't have scheduled these vasectomies" or "jeez babe sorry but we're on our way to......the aviary to..........buy spinach for......um......serbian christmas."

BA Gui release at Roundabout. Hoping to make it tomorrow as i’ve been loving their releases.

BA Gui is great; as usual for a roundabout beer. They’re so steady and yet immune to new money hysteria. With Heini’s coming up that’ll be three releases in 6 weeks or so for them. Good for Steve. He truly deserves more accolades.

Doublemex panned by voodoo mafia. FWIW I thought 18 was the best doublemex yet. To each their own.

Was lucky enough to stop in quickly this past Saturday before I left Pittsburgh to go back down to Charlotte. The McShovin was great. They were also testing out 16oz can designs, so the hand prefilled crowlers are going away to make way for hand filled 16oz 4 packs.
