I took apart the tap faucet on my edgestar kegerator to clean it and upon pulling the faucet off a piece of gravel fell out. Has anyone had this happen before and where could it have come from? Ive had three kegs thru this system so far all have been from local brewerys. Thanks

Three kegs is pretty quick to get beer stone though right? Sounds like it's relatively new.

Yes I have kids and there is no way they could of put this in my beer line.. I took a pic of it the best I could..

Looks like some of the cleaning media used in foundries to deburr castings. Could have been stuck in the faucet at manufacture.

Is there any chance this could have been in your faucet before setting up your kegerator? Or did you thoroughly clean and inspect it first?

first time taking the faucet apart, its no big deal just figured I'd ask around. Thanks guys for the replys
