I'm going to attempt a no-boil NEIPA soon and I want to use up some of my huge stash of hops rather than buying more just for this recipe. I don't have any of the typical "cheater" hops you usually find in NEIPAs, so I need to think a bit outside the box.

Which of these would you use (2-3 varieties max)?

Note that the Mosaic is almost gone (maybe 10-14g left). Other quantities should be accurate.

CTZ for bittering and any combo of Idaho 7, Azacca and El Dorado would give you a good neipa.

Forgot to mention, no bittering. Since this is a no-boil NEIPA I'm literally just going to heat some water and DME to 175, whirlpool the hops for 20 minutes, chill, ferment, and dry hop on day 2 or 3.

I had originally planned on Azacca/El Dorado, so this is reassuring!

Was also considering Green Machine (supposedly orange/vanilla).

Ah ok. Sounds interesting. Please post how it turns out. And if you do decide to use Idaho 7, go light. They tend to be very over powering imo.

Just did a NEIPA-ish with Comet (1oz @ 20min, 2oz whirlpool, 2oz dry hop). It plays like half Cascade and half Citra, factoring in the lower AA% compared to Citra. Should have done a 4oz or 6oz whirlpool, but overall it is a pleasant beer.

Halltertau Blanc was very delicate in my experience (but I don't have my notes handy, so I don't remember how much I used).

I've made a beer with Ekuanot that came out well, but I didn't get a lot of green pepper out of it. A friend made a NEIPA single-hopped with almost a pound of Ekuanot and the green pepper came through nicely - it was a good beer.

I really like the Trillium Melcher Street clone, which uses 3 oz of Columbus in the whirlpool, and then 1.5 oz Columbus and 6 oz Mosaic in the dry hop. You could sub the Mosaic with El Dorado, Ekuanot, or Azacca.

You have more hops than some homebrew supply shops.

I know, I have a problem.

This sounds like an intriguing idea!
