First beer was extract with steeped grains. Brewer's Best Kolsch. Spent two weeks in primary and has been in bottle for just 10 days.

Crisp "psst" noise when opened. Sufficiently carbed for a young beer. Yeasty, bready aroma. Sweet initial taste then some balancing bitterness on back end. Cloudy, golden color. Getting better with every week!

I love the Kolsch I made in November. Whirfloc will make is crystal clear if you make it again!
 
While you will brew better beer over time, we all do, you will always remeber your first. My first was a nut brown ale kit from a LHBS
