I have brewed a handful of cider batches, getting the juice straight from the orchard, and am now thinking about making a peach cider because I have a peach tree in my yard. Without having my own fruit press, is there any other way to brew a cider? I've heard I can mash them into a pulp and add water and sugar to the mix, boil it all together and then strain out the pulp... Any suggestions?

When i made my Peach Apple Cider with fresh peaches I just used a juicer to get what I wanted out of them.

This was super fine pulp and a good amount of juice.

I would not suggest boiling as tannin(sp?) would start setting in.

As for adding water I am not sure as I haven't done a solely peach cider. Sugar depends on what you want your OG to be.
