Pauls Malt Maris Otter

Hey guys,

Have any of you had any experience with Paul's Malt Keep Flying Maris Otter.

A local brewer recommended it to me but I've never heard of them. Their website looks allright. From what he told me, they are an independent craft malting house in the UK, but I much rather ask here before purchasing Malt that might not be up to par with Fawcetts.

I mean, they sell me an 11 lbs bag at aprox $10 to sample the malt which is not terribly expensive but much rather have some feedback before buying.

Any comments are welcome.

Never heard of it, but I'd try it for that price. Make an ESB.

Where are you located, I'd love to try some too-- Paul's is also supposed to make the best Mild malt out there!

In Mexico City, it's really expensive to be some malts here so I'm guessing they are trying to open up a market.

Never tried Paul's but I don't think anyone in the UK is making substandard malt. Based on experience with many other brands and that price, I'd say jump on it.
