Has anyone done this? I have a bunch of 1/2L bottles and would like to use them for this. Guess what I want to know is.. is the pasteurizing temp (165*) going to render the gaskets unusable for the next batch.. OR should I just go with regular bottles? My other option is a bunch of PET bottles I have from my Coopers DIY Kit. The downside of the PET bottles is.. I probably can't pasteurize in them. :-(
