Is it a good method on a PM to dump the wort almost right from the boil (i let it sit about 10-15 min) into my fermenter with about 15 liters of 50-55 degree water to get the wort down to pitching temp? It was my first go at PM and it seemed to work perfectly and it was in my kits instructions but i havent seen anyone else really talk about that method.

That is ture never thought of it that way but point being not a bad way to go to get it cooled fast then?
