I've noticed small white granules stuck to my sparge water pot. I'm guessing this is from using OxyClean. This last time I noticed it completely took the oxide layer off!

I've been using a small amount in the dishwasher (we don't use rinse aid) and running it with my brew gear.

Has OxyClean done this to others? Especially removing the oxide layer?

This last time I've just run them with nothing but I did use OxyClean to clean my brew pot. I still ran it through the dishwasher afterwards.

I was using oxiclean to de-label bottles and found it leaving a white powdery film in the bottles. Havent used it on my metal gear, use PBW for that.

I just recently started using it but find need to rinse with Cold water a few times to rid the granules.
