I recently tried this amazing beer and loved it. As with most beers that I try and like, I searched for someone who has tried to clone it. Unfortunately, I have found little info on this one. Had anyone tried to brew it or be something close. I am specifically interested in what yeast/bugs would be used in it.

I emailed Ron Jeffries about this a while back. Here's some of what he told me:

We use roughly 65 % Pils, 10 % pale, 10 % wheat malt, and 15% dextrose.

Ferment with your favorite Belgian strain, and either use some of our bottle dregs (as fresh as possible) or one of the wild blends from one of the yeast culture companies would work as well.

Ron Jeffries is a big fan of sugars. Listen to his interviews on Can You Brew It. The Bam recipe is great for low abv saison, albeit sugar free, but he talks about sugars a bit in the Madgruda Obscura (sp?) episode. I think he may have done a talk at NHC on sugars a few years back.
