in the recipe forum for old speckled hen by bah humbug, per quote,
"Apparently the distinctive fruity and malty flavour comes from a mix of pink and crystal malts "
Where can I buy these pink malts? Maybe Ill make a new beer and call it pinko ale!!

Very interesting. I'd like to know what you find out. My guess its melanoidin or aromatic malt.

Maybe a carefully worded email to the brewery will gain you some insight.
