Hello all. Kinda new at brewing with special grains. I want to make an oktoberfest beer. Here is what I've came up with. Does this look about right? Am I missing something important for this beer style, or using to much/little of something? Thanks
5 gal batch

Pilsen light LME 3.3lbs - 36%
Munich malt LME 3.3lbs - 36%
Cara-pils dextrine 8oz - 5%
Briess Special Roast malt 6oz - 4%
Caramunich malt (grain) 8oz - 5%
Caravienne malt (grain) 12oz - 8%
Weyermann Carahell 6oz - 4%

WLP820 oktoberfest lager yeast

1oz German Goldings 60min
1oz Hallertau 39 min
.5oz Styrian Goldings dry hop

Theres a lot going on, and some duplication of flavors there. Okto's are my fav style, and i find that simplicity is the key.

Little else is needed than Pils, Vienna, and Munich, with MAYBE the addition of a single caramel malt.

I'd go with the pair of LME's (munich and pils), and steep 1# vienna and 1/2 to 1# caravienna.

Also, the WLP820 yeast pales in comparison to their south german lager yeast, IMO.
