Montmorency cherries. It's nice. Dark sour ale first of all, so you have some of that caramel sour base. Almost 10% though with Brett so should dry out a bit.

The plum sour is the tits though

Talked to a guy at de Garde yesterday who said Tower of Babel tasted like Supplication, which is...not what I'd expect. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Anyone open a bottle yet?

Lotta bourbon in the nose. Sharp clean sour. Finishes dry with subtle fruit.. Supplication is a good comparison. Manhattan NW from Cascade is also similar, but HoMo is much better/more complex IMO.

That could have been me... because I thought it tasted like supplication. I mean not exactly, but enough for me to say, "woah that reminds me of supplication." I also have a very average palate.

Chucks CD has Witchfinder, pretty sure. Doubt you'll find anything around the city other than Witchfinder.

Opened an Empirium and Tower of Babel last night with a friend. Really solid beers. The funk and oak character on the Empirium were perfect. Tower of Babel was interesting, I was expecting a darker beer. Didn't get too much cherry or bourbon from the blend, but it was good. I'd be interested to see how it ages.

   Ill be at the Holy Mountain Release of their Midnight Still Variants on Saturday, looking to try and trade for some big stouts.
   Looking for MD, KBBS, Assassin, or Marshmallow handjee.
   
   One each of the Red and Green Wax midnight still with an additional plus on my end that can be DeGardes third anniversary ale, regular midnight still, or something different for one of the above beers. Shoot me a message and we can work something out.

Yea I hear you. last time you could walk up at the end of the line and buy Midnight Still with just a few minutes wait. Wonder how many bottles they made of the new ones though.
