Got the Round 5 Catador releases this afternoon from a friend that is unfortunately not on TB yet.

He also grabbed allotments for trickytunadicky fear025 and imperialking and threw in some fun extras including a Cigar City Cider & Mead / Moonlight Meadery collaboration, some fun crowlers and other good stuff that will be enjoyed in the coming weeks.

Getting me in the mood for Tampa in a few weeks.

Yes, it's terrible when great beer becomes more readily available.

When you live in Houston or any other city in Texas and they don't distribute these "brewery only releases" anywhere in the state (including Austin itself) but send them to sit on a shelf in California. Yes it's annoying.

But I love closer to the brewery, they should make sure I get it. Not a festival that can get the brewery more press and possibly more investors so the brewery can grow.

It's a product of the festival system. They aren't going to be shelf turds there forever. The leftovers had to get sold.
