I actually made reference to that ability of him to get performances out of guys who nobody else could. It's a subtle difference but I'm giving those points to Belichick the coach rather then Belichick the GM.

Obviously it's going to be hard to separate the two, so I really just judge the GM performance by higher profile player acquisitions and draft choices. If a team is killing it with a bunch of late rounders and kind of whiffs on the early rounders, I credit the coach for that, not the gm for being a great "late round drafter".

Blah blah words words words... dumb words dumb words blah blah blah.

Go back and look at the Pats drafts over the last five years and lay them up against any other team in the NFL and then come back and try to pretend you know what you're talking about.

Meanwhile, pull your head out of Belichicks a$s and take a deep breath. That's the rarefied air of reality you're smelling.

And I have no idea how the Pats will ever recover from, what is apparently, a slew of crippling personnel moves by Belichick.

I never said it. I will, however say this...if he were better in he draft room you may have won the SB in the last decade. Not saying he's terrible or even bad, but for the God you worship his as he should be better. Either that or realize he's simply not the best anymore.

I'll ask again...,

Who's better?

You said Schneider. If Schneider keeps the Seahawks playing at or near the level they played at last year, for another 13 years... fine... I'll at least concede that he might be AS good as Belichick.

Huge game for your Hawks this weekend Hoppy. Don't wanna drop that game.. Likely go from 1st seed to 5th seed and then a loss to the Rams next week would bounce em out of the playoffs.

Meh. If the Seahawks score 3+ points they'll win. Cards won't score any points. With their offense, at least.

No other team has ever played at a level they played at last year. You want that for 13 years? LOL How about Belichick do that once?

Speaking of blowing chunks...How 'bout that NFL Network schedule?
Jacksonville versus Tennessee - REALLY??

I'm sure there'll be an epic battle between the two-fers

Cheers! (sheesh. guess I'll keep working)

Good to watch it and get used to it. It's a preview of the Patriots/Broncos matchups in another season or two.

There is only one team in the NFL with a more anemic passing game than the Seahawks and that is the Jets.

Jets number 1
Seahawks number 2

So fine... He doesn't suck as much as Geno Smith

The Seahawks were 26th in the NFL last year in passing yards and they're 31st this year....

(Number 4 in rushing last year and number 1 this year.. Which is weird... Cuz... Ya figure with how awesome Russell Wilson is, they would take advantage and throw more. Ohhhhh, i get it, they don't want too score TOO many TDs. Got it.)

And for that, they get to pay the awesome QB that put up those huge numbers a tanker truck of money this off-season and they're gonna lose their top RB next year.

Sounds like a SOLID plan... I wish the Pats could get a guy like Schneider.
