BREAKING: Jets will NOT cut Mark Sanchez. They will move him to CB because of his elite ability at keeping the ball away from wide receivers

Could have fooled everyone. Seriously, Tannehill needed one win over a Jets team with nothing to play for to get his team to playoffs, and what? Straight up choke job.

Yeah cuz he plays all 22 positions, good logic. Look up how many times he was sacked that game. Too damn many.

Yeah cause all of those sacks were his line's fault, not because he held the ball too long against a team that had absolutely nothing to play for. You can make excuses for Tannehill if you want. I admit he's an intriguing player but he hasn't done anything of note to really impress. Would I rather have Tannehill on my team? Um, yeah of course.

Hey Cape - Edelman in green and white would look very nice. Is letting your best receivers walk in free agency and replacing them with injury prone scrubs the Patriot's way?

Jets fans were surprised how well they did last year yet Dolphins fans were disappointed, with the same record. You guys just suck so hard that I cant be too confused as to why you would want to take it out on us. Carry on.

He's all yours. Enjoy.

Is sucking horribly and making the playoffs about once a decade the Jets way?

Pretty pissed the Cards let Dansby walk without matching the Browns offer. But not surprised with that cheap ass organization.

They were only a couple moves away from being a serious title contender, but as usual, they feck it up during free agency.

I some what agree. I liked him but he wanted way too much. Bring on Revis.

Revis is going to whatever team will pay the most money. Period. He doesn't give a **** about winning, championships, or the Patriot Way. Revis cares most about being the best CB in football and that in his mind means being the best paid CB in football.

If that trade does go through, you'll get a good season out Revis. Then wait until the contract hold out crap begins in summer 2015. That's what he does.

Mad props to the Idzicks for getting a 1st round and a 3rd/4th for a one year rental of Revis by the Bucs.

Sorry Pats fans, go back to slumming it in the free agency bargain bin.

Cleveland actually has a chance to be decent next year if they land Revis and get hoyer back to playing, I like their chances in that sorry div.

Have you seen what else they've done already? While I do agree Hoyer isnt trash, their front office is and you will see schity results on the field because of it. Its Cleveland for gods sake!

Dolphins?

Hoyer isn't trash, but he's not a long term solution. If they can get a real QB to pair up with Josh Gordon....holy crap.

Not much out there and I don't think any rookies this year are worth their draft status. Hoyer is their best option and Cameron and Gordon shined with him at Qb.

I know people bashed Schaub this season, and justifiably so, but he would be a certain upgrade in Cleveland. The expectations there are low and I doubt he'd have the media spotlight on him like he did this year when he did a great spot-on Sanchez impersonation with pick-6 after pick-6.

True. Maybe Mcown also but I still think Hoyer is their best bet if he can come back from the knees.

1 year $12 million. Pats stole him. I'll take that over what Talib wanted all day.

Revis should be really interesting for the Pats this year. Hopefully some of the young guys shine too. Now if we could find a couple guys to catch the ball, it should be a slam dunk for the Superbowl.

Definitely an upgrade, and without all the messy commitment.
The Pats front office is clearly wicked smaht.

btw: does anyone actually think Talib will be playing after a year or two?
I've had glass carboys take bigger hits than him and they stayed in the game...

Cheers!

I like Talib's talking about the injury report. Nah, not my hip. It was a quad. Those heal quick man. You can get a real big contract with muscle injury, the hip on the other hand...
With their remaining salary cap I gotta guess the Broncos can't afford a pack of necco wafers.

Broncos hogging the headlines and doing good on paper. Pretty sure it's a last hooorah being that Peyton is damn near as immobile as Lady. (Ha! Lady! Right!)

Too bad considering the trophy has a reservation in Seattle for eternity.

If Golden Tate was going to leave in FA, I wish he'd have gone to Green Bay. That would've been awesome. :D

Nah, last time GB picked up anyone with a well known name was Reggie White in 1993 (that I recall). Most of the time free agency is paying new car luxury prices for a vehicle with 100k plus miles on it. Never really seems to work like it did off the lot but people still see it as shiny.

edit; I recant, Woodson was a good FA but he was viewed as raider tainted & don't think he got big bucks initially.

Decker to the Jets? Wtf do you want to be below mediocre?

1 year / 12 mill. A nice little deal for the Pats. A few more years would have been better but perhaps Belichick doesn't want to deal with the annual summer hold out season that Revis is notorious for.

I like Decker to the Jets. Maybe he's not a true #1, but he's a huge upgrade over what they have and they have a ton of cap space to play with. They need to draft a receiver with their 1st round pick and look at Pettigrew at TE. Darren Sproles on the cheap would be a nice pickup.

Decker Schmecker..., I got two words for you... Geno Smith

I was gonna say yea you could throw Calvin Johnson and Aj green on that team and you still have geno smith

Hey, let's give Geno one more full season before we crucify him. He had some great moments last season and some atrocious ones as well. He was a rookie QB that was started immediately. It didn't help that he had not one play maker on that team to help him.

The Jets have a very good defense, and a solid offensive line. They just need some playmakers on offense to get them to the 9 - 10 win level. I mean, ****, look at last year's team. 8-8 with a worse receiving corps than the Pats.

Idzik had to clean house last season after the mess Tannenbaum left him. Now the Jets are flush with cap space and just need to cut or trade Sanchez to finish the job.

Do you think the Sanchez tattoo will cover up so easy?
