I'm with Darwin on this one. It is 100% up to the coaching staff. The first time it happens, it is on the player. The second time it happens, it may still be on the player but now the coach needs to step in. The third time it happens it is all on the coach.
The coaching staff should have sat him and calmed him down. Eli should have said something to him too. It isn't all on the coach. Obviously the player needs to stop being an idiot but if he is, the coach needs to sit him.
Though I don't blame OBJ for what he did. Panthers players coming over to him during pre-game with a bat and calling him gay and racial slurs. That is not called for at all. OBJ deserves the suspension but someone on the Panthers needs to get a fine or suspension too.
