If you're having trouble keeping up, maybe you want to just sit out for a little while. Think of it as your redshirt season, or maybe we can put you on the practice squad.

First, number 7 on the list of most educated cities in the US, right above the Boston area, so suck my balls.

Second, Niner fans will readily admit the last decade plus has sucked with the Yorks, NoWin, and Shinglestary. However, guys like myself and PA have stuck it out like true fans. NE fans who are old enough to remember when you guys were dog **** should be able to appreciate that. Also, just for funs I'll throw in there the whole Joe never lost a Super Bowl and Brady will never be on Joe's level.

I think the Pats showed in 08 that they are not the colts. Brady out all season, 11 wins. Just missed the playoffs. The organization has put a system in place to succeed. Has Matt Cassell done even close to as well in KC. Brady is the Man and it will be sad to see him go, but the system will make someone else a hero.

All that being said, I think we can all agree we hate the Packers!

Pats are not the Colts. Colts were dumb****s for hiring Caldwell who was a disgrace to all coaches everywhere from Peewee leagues to the NFL. As long as Belicheck is around the Pats will be relevant, as a Niner fan we know something about brilliant coaches make our team relevant.

This is what I've been trying to say. We know we had it bad the past 10 years or so. Now we finally get a good team with some relevance and included in the playoff discussions.

Montana > Brady

They are relevant now........ yes! Honestly, when you are talking about teams going to the playoffs, are you thinking the 49ers are a lock or are they going to get shut out this year? I understand your reasoning behind the thought of it's only been one season, but it was this past season, not 8 seasons ago. So obviously the Raiders, the Bucs are a completely different team than they were so long ago. We have our entire defense back (still pending on Goldson though). We upgraded our WR corp and have a formidable backfield. Where do you see our weakness? The QB? Perhaps, we'll see which version of Smith we get. Trent Dilfer one a SuperBowl with the Ravens defense. It doesn't happen a lot but it does happen.

I'm hoping Moss in the locker room doesn't cause any problems either. So far, so good, but we haven't played any games. Time will tell.

I don't hate the Packers nearly as much as the Cowboys and Eagles. I still think the Packers have one of the classiest organizations.

Don't worry about Moss, he's got a chip on his shoulder about how he left the game and people saying he is done, he'll be fine as he always is when he wants to prove people wrong. Worry about Alex Smiff. Moss, Manningham, Vernon, Crabs, can't do much when all Alex does is overthrow wide open guys(see Kyle Williams 5-10 yards beyond the defense in that championship game) or throws nothing but worm burners(see every other throw to a wide receiver in that game).

I know he has the talent around him now. But I'm just worried about when Moss has a bad game or they get into a slump. What then? I truly believe we'll be fine, but you can't ignore his past. So far so good though. Short quick passes, a strong running game and a great solid defense is going to be Alex' best friend.

Dammit, it's no fun if you're asking for it. That was half the fun with Denver fans last year - they thought they had the second coming at QB for a while there. I have no idea why on Earth they would have thought that. Did they ever watch him, you know, actually try to play QB? Here's hoping for you guys that Sanchez doesn't stink up the joint, and at least keeps the Division interesting. I mean, I'd hate to see the Pat's take the division TOO easily.

Somehow dispite him not being a good QB, Tebow kept winning though. Still surprised the Jets traded for him. Thought for sure he'd be heading to Jacksonville.

I would be shocked if the Pats didn't avenge 2007 and go undefeated this year.

They made the SB last year so obviously they're awesome. They got a lot more awesomer over the off-season. They have a puff schedule... and everyone else sucks. How can they NOT do it?
