Hey guys,
I'm trying to clean out my basement of some older grains that I have had sitting around. I've also had some Northern Brewer and Vanguard Hops that I'd like to make disappear at the same time.
I haven't taken inventory yet on the grains, but I know I have a bunch of Pilsner, a good amount of 2-Row and some Peated Malt, possibly some Honey Malt there as well. I'd like to use a bunch of it tomorrow if I could for a rather impromptu brew day. Any ideas come to mind? I also (will) have a fresh yeast cake of 1056 to use, as I'll be transferring a Pale Ale off of it and into secondary just before the boil finishes.
