The last time I brewed and today, my foam never ready broke, even with very heavy boil under foam. Any ideas? nothing really changed in how I brew. Same equip, same crusher.

no ideas of what happened, but if it happens again try ladling out the foam/break with a sanitized ladle. i do this to stocks and soups and occasionally my beers. doesnt effect anything in the beer from what i can tell. Most will say to just let it be, but personally its just hard wired into my dna at this point.

I can get boil overs and foam up to the top of my keggle boil kettle. Sometimes seems like it won't quit. What I do is turn the flame lower, stir and bring flame back up gradually, usually results in a nice hot break and no more boil overs. I run my burner at full blast to bring to boil, then scale back slightly to reduce excess boil off and propane use. Don't get me wrong I have a heavy rolling boil still
