First Recipe I'm posting so I’m Using Biermuncher recipe template for this.

0.50 oz Amarillo [9.20%] (10 min)
0.50 oz Equinox [15.00%] (7 min)

Mash at 153 degrees for 60 minutes.

Water Profile: (Ca)46 (Mg)6 (Na)88 (SO4)79 (Cl)66 (HCO3)159

If my water profile doesn’t make sense sorry, Just getting used to it. I always start with Distlled and build toward this using Beersmith Water Tool

For visual comparison actual headstock on the left and clone is on the right.

Wait, according to the can this beer has mosaic in it. Did you find it didn't add much?

You’re adding Bicarbonate to distilled water? Why? Are you then using acid to adjust?

Also that’s a lot of Carastan. I’ve never had that beer but is it really sweet? If you just want color you only need .25oz, maximum I would use would be .5oz.

Like I said I'm new to the water chemistry side of things. As for the Carastan I figure id just wing a number in there and it seemed to work ok. you can probably adjust it down to a 1lb.

Amazing. I have an APA fermenting that I based off of a Naughty Neighbour clone recipe. Love Nickel Brook’s stuff.

Sdiddy thanks for this. I'm thinking of starting my own home brew and Headstock is my beer. I really appreciate you posting this as it has helped me a lot. Any chance you can help me out with recommendation for starter kit? looking for a 5 gallon set-up. Not sure I want to jump to a grainfather on my first brew attempt especially right now but please let me know your thoughts. Thanks again.
