Newbie. Looking for seasonal pumkin suggestions

Hello!

Quite new at this but getting hooked quick. Just finished my first batch of Pale Ale. Looking to brew up something seasonal....Pumkin. Ideas, suggestions recipes?

well first do some "research"

try Southern Tier Pum King- this year has mixed reviews but last years was amazing.
saranac pumpkin isn't bad, not my favorite
There are a bunch more, just figure out what you want in a beer and go from there.

Check out the recipe tab on top there, check out vegetable/fruit beers.

Thunderstruck has lots of positive feedback, but i prefer imperial pumpkin ales,

mix them with a shot of whipped cream vodka and its like drinking pumpkin pie.

Just yesterday I did a pumpkin ale that is a clone of Buffalo Bill's Brewery pumpkin Ale. Its currently bubbling away nicely and should be ready by Christmas. SWMBO (who hates beer) came home after work just as the wort boil was finishing and said it smelled AMAZING. As far as taste.....we shall see.

I tweaked the spices just a tad too.
