New strains of fruity hops anyone?

Hey fellow brewers,
I've been hearing alot lately about some great hops coming through in the last couple of years.
My online supplier has the following.

Falconers flight 7cs
NZ wai iti
Huell melon
Zythos

Anyone had any experience with these?
I'm trying to start a new age hops thread so we can all benefit from quickly learning the best way to use these new hops.
Feel free to include any other new varieties that have equally tropical/citrusy flavours.

No idea what the other two are, but Zythos and Falconers Flight aren't "strains", they are mixtures of various hops...

Ah ok, so they're just a mixture of existing varieties so we don't have do spend 7 times as much on hops?!?

I have used Zythos in a Belgian IPA and loved them.
I didn't see them on the maltmiller site. But,Rob is quite good with getting as many hops as possible

Have you seen madariana Bavaria ? I got a pound. It is really good. I did a citra combo for aroma and flavor, then dry hopped with 4 oz. Nice faint orange flavor. Not pungent or over powering. This was with an Munich Vienna apa, it complaimented the malt nicely

I think it's high time we made some smash brews with these fruity hops to really get to know them.
I'm doing extract atm but moving to all grain in a month or so, gonna start with smash recipes of citra, Amarillo and then order done wai-iti and huell melon and galaxy for future ones. Should keep me busy for a few months.

Haven't tried the ones listed, but Azacca is a relatively new hop that is extremely juicy and tropical. I wouldn't bitter with it though, it's got an odd aftertaste.

Doing small batches is a good way to familiarise yourself to the favours of new hops.Assuming you can get small quantities.Having large amounts of beer that doesn't meet your expectations can be a bummer.
