Discussion on the Madison Homebrewers and Tasters Guild email list does indeed verify that Fitzgerald is working on such an amendment at the behest of the Tavern League of WI.
But let's not get political - this is about beer . . not politics!!
This is a non-political issue with heavy support from both sides of the isle. That was my initial issue with the line this thread was on. Thank you the Grinder for backing up his claims with facts and removing the political undertones.
We should all be thankful for one non-political piece of government or legislates are working on. Goodness knows they have tried to politicize everything else.
What does SB395 even hurt in the big picture for the one "nay" vote? The biggest reason this is being pushed is for the part of transporting beer and legalizing competitions. There's no real big change. I really want to know the reason for that senator to say no.
(I've been an out-of-state resident for 12 yrs so please excuse me for not knowing the jackasses of our state gov't)
Watch it kevjt, the pro corruption people will come down hard on you for those kind of comments.
wa wa wa my name is grinder and I can't leave politics out of this thread wa wa wa
For some reason the Wisconsin Department of Revenue reinterpreted existing law making homebrew transportation and competitions illegal.
