New guy here, Cajun from Louisiana

Just getting into the hobby and am in the process of producing my first lager. Hope it turns out well, I've been sanitizing everything real well and just got the wort done. Just beginning to ferment, so I guess I will know in a few days.

Thanks, Layne. Been reading some of the helpful things on the board and just trying to make sure I don't make any mistakes. Starting out with a Cooper's kit but have a lot of plans to expand! LOL

Actually, gonna take it slow for a while until I find something I really like. Maybe something similar to Bass Ale or maybe a nice Hefeweizen. Really depends on the time I can spend on this hobby.

Any helpful hints are appreciated.

AND, you've found the best resource for homebrewing anywhere.
Don't be afraid to ask questions, the guys on here are always willing to help out.
