Pretty new to brewing, only experience was being a seconds set of hands for my brother when he brewed. Reason i decided to started brewing might be strange. Was at a thrift shop saw a 1 gallon beer brew kit for $6. My thoughts for brewing this expired batch, i just want to see what would happened. I should add that all the ingredients expired in 2018. My expectation for the end result of this 1 gallon batch isn't high. 14 day ferment date will be early October. Since then i did stop by a brew store and got myself fresh grains, hopps, and yeast. Should be brewing my first real batch later this week. If the expired batch turns out palatable at all i will make a post on it. All my equipment is nothing fancy just second hand stuff bought off marketplace. I'm just looking to brew some decent beers and experiment with new ideas.
