New from Fort Collins, Colorado

I figured it best to introduce myself before asking 10 billion questions on the forum! My name Josh Hastings and I am located in Fort Collins Colorado. Prior to a few months ago I had never brewed a thing in my life. I got the itch and spent a ton of money on everything needed for an all grain setup before realizing i'd better get some extract brews under my belt 1st. I am now on my second extract brew which will be a winter warmer that I plan on adding bourbon soaked oak chips to once the initial fermentation is complete. I look forward to being a part of the community and documenting my brewing as I learn... Cheers!

Welcome. But I gotta say....I've been to Fort Collins, and I'm not sure I'd bother brewing. Damn you guys have some great breweries out there. But then again, we brew not only for the beer, but the challenge. So, Welcome again!!
