Hi everyone, I'm a new brewer from flint michigan. I've got a week old variation of yooper's dead guy clone in my carboy right now. It was an all grain mashed at 154 for an hour then i extended the boil to 90 minutes and added a little more hops about halfway through the boil, I also used the cry havoc yeast because of the higher temps when fermenting. can't wait for it to come out, curious to see exactly how different it will be. hopefully it won't be too terrible... this forum has been a big help and i will be making the homemade beer gun and getting ready to yeast wash for the first time sometime within the next few weeks.
