I've got the following on tap - highly unusual but delicious. It's a pseudo-clone of Brewery Vivant's Big Red Coq Belgian red IPA. (I've only had it once and their website gives no info about ingredients.) I wanted something blood red for Halloween, and this is what I came up with.
7 lbs. Belgian Pilsner
6 lbs. 10L Munich
1 lb. 80L Caramunich
1 oz. Nelson Sauvin @ 60
1 oz. Nelson Sauvin @ 15
2 oz. Nelson Sauvin @ 5
Wyeast Trappist High Gravity yeast cake from a blonde
OG: 1.068
FG: 1.014
IBUs: 80
ABV: 7.2%
It tastes kind of like an Irish red, a tripel, an APA, and a bottle of sauvignon blanc all mixed up together. I like it, but it may not be for all.
