Need help with kegerator build

Hey all! I've got the greenlight to order what is needed to get a kegerator up and running. So here's what I already have

Fridge with Inkbird (it's my current fermentation fridge)
6 pinlock Kegs
5 lb co2 cylinder with regulator (it's used)

Things I need going in order from co2 cylinder connection, keg, taps

4 way manifold

Gas line hose (should I invest in the EVABarrier tubing here and if so what size?)

This is where my hang up is. I saw the tubing on Amazon but I've read a little about the EVABarrier tubing. I'd definitely be willing to get that. I'm not sure what size I'd need here in mm either

Taps

I'll be going picnic taps for now. End goal is to invest in the nice taps, but, this is just to get er up and running. I'll be building 10 foot hoses with the picnic taps on them for now that way as I upgrade the taps to through the door I can just cut the picnic taps off and use the existing hose for the new taps

The end goal here is I'd like to disassemble the kegs and clean/reseal them both for learning purposes and I'm also unsure of their previous history.

Please if there's anything I'm missing on this list let me know! I'd like to at least have really good hoses to start out with! Oh and co2 canister will be going in the fridge for now. Plan is to move it outside. The fridge has coils on the back so I'm HOPING I have a clear shot through the side but that's for a whole different day lol

I’d encourage to start with EVA barrier tubing where you can. 4mm size is fine for all uses. You’ll need less line length with that. I think 7ish feet is a common number I hear.

The only last advise I’ll give is with the picnic taps. They’re cheap. They feel cheap. They have issues with foaming more so than regular taps.

You’re already investing a chunk into getting this up and running. I’d suggest finding a way to start would with some decent taps, such as intertap forward sealing faucets.

It's taken 4 years of convincing the wife I need this so I have to get what I can while the approval window is still open LMAO! I do plan on investing in some forward facing taps once the final keg/co2 tank orientation is done. I'd be all up for building a few picnic tap lines and unhooking them after each use for now. Actually that was the plan since I don't want to open up the fridge to any "surprises". So eva barrier tubing 4mm would work for the gas line and the picnic tap line with the parts I have listed above?

I don’t know if a push to connect picnic tap exists. It would be cool if it did. Otherwise you’ll have to stretch the Eva barrier tubing over the tap barb. It can be done, I just don’t know anybody who’s done it. Maybe someone else will chime in. You’ll need to heat the tubing at a minimum in hot water to stretch it over. It’s possible it will need a heat gun and swaging tool to flare it out.

Well lets say if I want to use a 4 way manifold and the good co2 hose. What would I need?

I have cheap CO2 lines and have running them for years without any cause for concern or a single thought of replacing them just use what fits

Liquid lines are another story
