@bracconiere, congratulations on you 1st win.
If you google sea caves, a site for beautiful sea caves around the world comes up. The second one is Cathedral Cove, New Zealand.
It's a long way from the middle of the US to New Zealand, but we went once. It was worth the trip. A beautiful country. We didn't see Cathedral Cove.

I'll stick with the current theme. This is from 2010. It can help to know that this picture was taken just four days after we left the last place I posted.

Not Samoa. I was not kidding about this being taken only four days after us leaving Paradise. Part of an 18-day road trip that started in Seattle and ended in San Francisco.

It is the Devil's Punch Bowl. I'm almost surprised @bracconiere didn't get it because it comes up if "sea arch northwest coast" is googled. (I checked with that and the same with "sea cave" instead of "sea arch" before I posted.)
You're up @cmac62.

Oreagon! for some reason my searches were specific to new zealand...didn't even think to look at your actual location, thought you were on vacation or something! :mug:

(i was wondering why it'd take 4 days to cross new zealand though, should have raised a red flag....)

Oddly enough, the trip we took to New Zealand that I mentioned in responding to your picture of Cathedral Cove, New Zealand, was in 2010, the same year we went to Mt. Rainier, the place we'd been to before we got to the Devil's Punch bowl. We went to new Zealand in February and we went to the Northwest in August-September. We retired in mid-2006, so taking vacations can happen anytime. :)

why does that sound like a quadratic eqation to me?

(Feb)+(Aug-Sep)=2006 (X) been a while since i had to solve stuff like that ;) but i'm having fun working on my google fu! ;) :mug:

That's the Jackson Brewery building, now the Jackson Brewing Lofts, 1489 Folsom, San Francisco.
Picture shows 11th street and SF on the corner stand. I assumed San Francisco. Having googled a map showing 11th, going down it you find the building at Folsom Street. Googling "building at 11th and Folsom San Francisco" gets to information on this landmark building.

I put in German castle overlooking town and Heidelberg was the first picture that came up. The pic that came up looks like they are doing some work on the tower as it was covered in scaffolding. :mug:

Heidelberg it is. Nice and quick, @Kharnynb. You're up.
BTW: I've never eaten in Heidelberg, nor have I eaten at a Greek restaurant anywhere Germsny. :p I do remember wishing for a bit more time in Heidelberg to enjoy a beer and brat or pretzel in the square where I took the picture.

Greek restaurants in Germany are great, they're one of the best value sit-down places with great average quality.

Ok, this might be a bit harder, but i'll give hints if needed :D
